WordPress provides a tag which can be used to control how much content is displayed from a post on the main blog page. When using the Visual or Text tabs simply add the following tag to the point in your content where you want the excerpt to stop:

This tag is not compatible with the page builder. To control the amount of post content displayed on the main blog page we must use the in-page excerpt field. Any text added in the excerpt field will be displayed on the main blog page.

Note: If the excerpt field is not showing, please ensure the there is a tick in the Excerpt checkbox in the Screen Options section for the page.
