All of our themes come with the built-in ThinkUpSlider in the main theme options panel. This can be used to add a slider to the homepage of your website. The ThinkUpSlider has been designed to be easy to use making it possible to add a slideshow to your website without the need to touch any code or use a 3rd party plugin.

To add a slideshow using the ThinkUpSlider please follow the steps below.

• Go to the Homepage section of theme options panel panel and scroll down to Homepage Slider.
• Ensure the option for ThinkUpSlider is selected.

• By default a single slide will appear. Click the toggle field to expand.
• Press Upload to select an image from your media library.
• For more information about optimal image sizes please refer to the Slider Image Size article.

Note: An image must be assigned to all slides. If you’re using a theme that supports video backgrounds you must still assign a slider image. Learn more about setting up the ThinkUpSlider for video backgrounds here.

• Once an image is assigned you can choose to add a title and description to the slide. These are optional.
• The title and description will have a unique style depending on the theme being used.
• Add a custom link (start with http or https) to the URL field to link the slider to a location of your choice.
• Depending on the specific theme being used the custom url will either link the entire slide or add a “Read More” button which will be displayed on the slide.
• If a “Read More” button is added please use the Button Text field to customize the text for the slider button.

Note: A number of themes come with a range of pre-made slider styles which can be used to change the slider style using a class system. Learn more about slider styles and whether your theme is supported here.

• To add additional slides press Add Slide and repeat the above process for each slide.
